Traditional knitting tool for working with double pointed needles
These beautiful Knitting Sticks are hand turned and carved here in Cornwall by a local craftsman. Knitting Sticks were traditionally used here in Cornwall and other parts of the knitting world to anchor the working needle and thus improve knitting speeds which would have been essential when contract knitting made up part of your household income back in the 1800's.
NOTE: As each one is hand crafted, they will all vary slightly in appearance. This means that your knitting stick will be totally unique to you and hopefully a surprise and pleasure to receive.
Each kniting stick comes with a length of linen waist tape and measures approx 7- 8 inches long
